Collaborative & Applied Educational Work

In addition to my teaching and research, I engage in collaborative, applied work with schools, districts, and educational organizations. These projects grow out of my practitioner-scholar commitments and are grounded in partnership, context, and reflective inquiry. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all solutions, my work emphasizes listening, sensemaking, and research-informed practice that responds to local needs and conditions.

This collaborative work is selective and project-based, and is typically shaped in conversation with partners to ensure alignment with institutional goals, values, and constraints.

Areas of Collaboration

Professional Learning and Facilitation
I collaborate with educators and leaders to design and facilitate professional learning experiences that are research-informed, practice-centered, and responsive to local contexts. This work often focuses on supporting reflective practice, instructional decision-making, and collective learning within schools or teams.

Program Design and Qualitative Evaluation
I partner with organizations to support program development, review, and evaluation, particularly through qualitative and practitioner-oriented approaches. This may include needs assessments, document review, interviews or focus groups, and synthesis of findings to inform decision-making and future planning.

Curriculum and Instructional Support
My work includes collaborative support around curriculum design, instructional coherence, and pedagogical alignment. These efforts are grounded in educators’ lived experiences and emphasize adaptability across diverse school and community contexts.

Research-to-Practice Partnerships
I am particularly interested in partnerships that bridge research and practice. This includes collaborative inquiry projects, design-based work, and support for organizations seeking to integrate research insights into everyday professional practice.

Approach
